Week 33: A shower

So, I took some great pictures last week, buuuttt I can't share them just yet. So, instead, I'm sharing few of the pictures that I took at my sister-in-law's baby shower. She had a coral and teal theme, with a beach feel. It's hard to believe that in 4 short weeks (or less) my niece will be here!!! I'm so excited. Check out the cake, too. I made it :)! Notice, also, that there are no pictures of my SIL on here. That's because she was busy running from person to person, and I really wasn't happy with any of the pictures that I got of her :(. Oh, and, other than a little cropping, all of these are SOOC!! I'm pretty happy about that fact!

Week 32: Aleena's a Senior!

Up this week are Aleena's senior pictures. When her mom asked me to take these pictures I was shocked...shocked because I just don't see how in the world this beautiful young lady could be a senior. Where has the time gone?!?!?!?! She has such a sweet, almost timid personality, but under all that is a fierce spirit that is going to fully succeed at whatever she tries! How could she not? She's got an amazing example in her mother and family.

Aleena, her mom, and her sister were prepared for these pictures y'all! They had no shortage of gorgeous settings around their home, and they had thought out each location, props and all! They had even enlisted daddy's help, and he was more than willing to rise to the occasion and answer their every beckoning call. That love and devotion is something that can't be forced or faked. It was genuine. It was beautiful. It was real. And, it was precious.

On a side note, can I just tell you that I love it when my clients come with a vision of what they want. I love being the one to help them freeze these little moments in time, and take their vision to its fullest potential. What can I say? It just brings me JOY!

Aleena, you are a beautiful girl, inside and out. The closeness, love and laughter that you share with your family is a treasure. It is precious and beautiful, and it will be the solid foundation that gives you stability in this year and years to come. Never be afraid to set goals, pursue your dreams, and be true to yourself. Much love to you this year...I can't wait to see all the joy and excitement that is in store for you!!!
